No shock to hear that from me, right?  I mean, it's been almost a year since I've posted squat up here.  For good reason...I can't set up this account the way I want to.  It's far too complicated for my five minute mind to comprehend.  Xanga is way easier...but not as much fun.  I've found another journal webpage that's been going good for me so far.  It's not hard on the senses and is much easier to navigate and customize.

I'm more up-to-date there than here.  Unfortunately a lot of the LJ communities I'm interested in require an account here (duh!), so that's why I've kept this open.  So I'm sorry if my rant here ticks off LJ purists or whatever...I don't mean to offend.  It's just how it is...anyway, moving along, I've kept up my fanfic works.  Swing by my ffnet account and visit sometime.  Fruits Basket is currently what all my fanfics are on, but I'm gaining more interest in Bleach fandom.  I might even try to join a LJ comm that has an interest specific to this fandom, particularly my fave character, Hitsugaya Toushiro!  ADORABLE!

Yes, I believe it to be true now. It wasn't easy to come back, but I am!

It was pretty hard to get the notes for "Seasons of Sorrow" sorted, but I managed somehow. Now I've been on a short hiatus from that fic & did a sidefic "The Problems with a Rat". I highly recommend my readers to read it!

Now, I've trying to get LJ to work with me to post fics here & up on a group listing. I've not had much luck but I do try!

So, what's up in your world? My world came to a standstill the moment I realized...

I'm DAMN close to the tournament event in my story! Fanfic writing can keep you so wound tight you don't even realize one of the climatic moments is already upon you! YIKES!!!!

I need to gather all my notes that I have because a lot of things happen before then, & if my calculations are correct, I have 5 chapters to do it all before it comes to the event. DOUBLE YIKES!!!!

So, yep, I need to bunk down at a library (home is too busy to get serious work done) & sort out all of my notes, both stickies & paper clips & napkins...

I'm pleased, though, real pleased because I'm moving my story along as I had wanted to thus far. I'm wondering though if my readers will follow me the rest of the way once plots are unravelled after this event. It's a scary thought I'm sure for any fanfic writer to not have the support they once had for their story. Still, even with the lack of support, I'll manage. I barely had any support in the beginning, so making it through to the end will be a personal accomplishment of sorts. All my one-shot/side fics were fully completely, & I'm not stopping on my mega-epic fic! I owe it to those few that were actually wanting to read the finale! Though, I still hope its more than a few!

Someday I'll have this monstrosity of a fic edited, too! My poor editor is MIA I'm afraid...I think the goblins at school are holding her hostage! Someone please reach out to her & pull her away before its too late!!! Sad I can't keep a good editor...but I don't blame anyone for dumping this epic-size fic back on my lap. Heck, I'd dump it off to la-la land oftentimes because the editing work is so much. I wish I had a better grasp of verb tense usage...I believe that to be the thorn in my writing. Or being too detailed in some parts but not others. I guess that's why it's called progressive writing. There's always room for improvement.

How's this for an idea...5 chapters. 5 chapters for each person that wants to edit. Not one person is handling the editing but multiple people. Hm, that is an idea I've been playing with but not deciding to just yet. I want to move past the 'tournament' section in my fic before looking into official editing for the fic. Boy, it'll be something.

Wow, such a long post. Maybe I should do this more often, ne? Hehe, to everyone reading this & to those that are my buds here, thanks. Thanks so much for putting up with my eccentricities...there are many. Why hello to all that actually read these entries of mine out of the thousands out there! It's good to know that my blurbs get a little recognition!

Wow, it's been a while! Busy, oh yeah! I had a major project at work that basically sucked the life out of yours truly not to mention killed any meaningful time at the computer at work (my only connection to cyberspace). But now...

Drums roll!

I have connection at home! Just a few weeks ago! I'm so THRILLED!!!

You know, I do wonder how much longer I'll keep this up. I know the 'summer' segment won't be as long as the 'spring' segment because of something I'll be introducing towards the end of SOS. What could it be? Well, like I've said before, my fav authors were my inspiration to try my hand at fanfiction telling!

Wow, it's been an age since I've been here!

Basically, I've finished my fanfic 'Sometimes...' - YAY! Of course, I'm thrilled to see some reviews on it. Many liked the story well enough, & I'm pleased with that.

Yep, I also released a 'funny' fic...I had always wondered if Yuki knew Akito's true gender, & I assumed he did. You just can't hide something like that if you grew up with each other. Well, that's my take on it & the story 'To My Surprise' really brings this idea to fruition. Hehe, I think many will agree that bathing two kids of the opposite sex can be dangerous!

Gee, I wish I could say that I'm rip-roaring to start up SOS. I kinda am, but I'm also a little apprehensive. I'm going to be heading into the more impact-laden portion of the story, & I'm of course nervous if it'll be well received. Oh well, we'll see, won't we?!

LiveJournal...I don't think I'll ever get the hang of it! Now, if I had Internet access at home, then I can fool around with it long enough to know what I'm doing. But that's not going to happen, & so I'm forced to deal with dropping a note every so often at work. You know, you really can't 'splurge' on your LJ if you have the nagging in your head that you need to finish your work! The environment just doesn't inspire me too well.

Hey, as a special treat I'm revealing some very interesting clues related to my flagship fic, SOS. Yep, it'll finally come together in the next & final chapter release of Sometimes... - I hope to get that out very soon so I can finally focus on SOS!

Yep, I've been busy trying to become more pumped up for the fics I need to get done. So to that end, I've decided to share with you something so utterly pointless.

My name is HelloKat...why? Because having a name like 'Hello Kitty' is not only a blatant infringement of copyright laws, but also I'm no 'kitty'. Nope...yours truly is a bit older than the fanbase of the white kitty. So I decided to take a more mature approach to the name. Hence...HelloKat.

Hello to all!

Yours truly is rather 'off' her kilter today, so please forgive if I'm making no sense! Up at 3AM does that to you...why do I always push myself so hard?! I'll be fried by midday!

Anyway, I had wanted to share with you my latest creation in fanfiction. I hoped I did the characters justice. It's hard when they rarely appear (Akira, Ren) & when there's little info provided on them. Ah well, Furuba's author really makes it hard on us fanfic writers.

It's very angsty so be prepared for it. It's three chapters only but they are lengthy. Usual spoiler applies to Akito in my new fic. But don't let that deter you...it's great to read on her past...they are so adorable (her & Yuki) when they're young. So cute!

I've finally managed to release a new chapter on SOMETIMES. That was hard to let go of because I couldn't make up my mind anymore. I'm determined though to finish so I can start up again on SOS. Heheh, it seems some readers may feel this way, too! Yori-chan...if you read this, I know your anticipation to read an update on SOS! One chapter can be a pain to put together but I'm not working on SOS just yet although I'm itching to!

Ah well, let's get this show on the road...I'll post some other nonsensical ramblings at a later date!

Yep, yours truly has had to take her work home & finish it up on her laptop. NO fun! But thank goodness it's done & over with! Now I can really focus on finishing this darn chapter for Sometimes...

Woe is me...

I've lost the edge, the nerve, the motivation, ARGH! But I found it again!

I'm referring to Sometimes... This new chapter release I'm putting together didn't 'send' me. Do you know what I mean? It just didn't rub me the right way. So after five pages worth of long hours & late nights, I'm trashing them. Yep, I've got a new way of taking the chapter. It should be great, too, since I'm having Kyo in as my cameo of choice!

Which unfortunately means that the chapter release may be delayed...pooh. I wished it weren't so, but oh well, it'll be fine! And better, too!

Now, I better start finishing this project at work or else I'll really be working on it at home. Ewww...

I"m happy to report that my first batch of SOS chapters is off the editing board! First five chaps are up on FanFiction site. What do I mean by this?

Well, I've been blessed to have a reader become my editor for Seasons of Sorrow (my SOS fic on Furuba)! I'd like to send many *HUGS* to Miya-chan for helping me to have this & my other fics edited correctly. She's done a fantastic job with the first batch...can't wait to get the rest up to par!

Let me tell you, I saw my edited versions & they were bleeding! Yep, that many mistakes! I'm so glad for having another pair of eyes to catch my mistakes. There's so many chapters, too--I wonder if Miya-chan will disown me after a while... HEHE, hopefully not! But I do make her work extra hard on this, so my hats off to her & her wonderful talent in editing!

I'm so new to this journal entry stuff. So I'll just 'play' with this until I have it going smoothly.

I have uploaded the next release on my fic, 'Sometimes...' It's sure to give my readers new possibilities to consider! I would hope that it gains more favor, but who knows? Furuba canon can be rather detrimental to my fics, but oh well.

This fic will be quite short (I only anticipate 3 or 4 more chapters), but will have loads of laughs & some tears. Unlike SOS that will have all that but...

That is a behemoth in the making! SOS, or 'Seasons of Sorrow', is already at 35 chapters. And I'm only sort of halfway there...sort of. I can't reveal more than that, but trust me, it's a ride that I hope will be worth your while!

Why did I call it that? Well, the climate changes within a year always brought memories to me of the past, both good & bad memories. And if anyone remembers, the first chapter of my fic has the reader already interacting with one particular character who is still anonymous at this point in the storyline. The character is reflecting on how that year was pivotal in the lives of all the family.

Actually, I was planning to name it 'Seasons of Change'. Pretty weird considering someone did name their fic just that! How weird! Coincidences do happen in this world! Ah, great minds think alike...
